MATRIX has a passion for new music.

New music: art music from 1950 onwards. That is what MATRIX [New Music Centre] is truly passionate about.

Besides organizing an extensive range of educational activities, MATRIX [New Music Centre] also developed an expertise on the domain of contemporary musical heritage and holds a large documentation centre. With a collection of over 24.000 scores and 13.000 audio recordings of both Belgian and international composers, MATRIX has come to be one of the most important documentation centres on new music in Flanders.
