  • Do I require a special readers card to enter the library?

    No, you do not need any card to enter the library. 

  • How can I find information on Flemish composers of new music?

    Our websites contains extensive information on more than 150 Flemish composers. You can find a short biography and fairly extensive information on the oeuvre, a work list, a bibliography, a discography, links to the relevant publishers, sometimes address or phone number and if available a link to his or her personal website. All texts have been written by musicologists and can be used for free if the original author and MATRIX is mentioned. In that page you can also find a link to all scores and/or recordings of that specific composer in the MATRIX library.

  • When is the library open?
    • Tuesday: 10 am - 6 pm
    • Wednesday: 12 am - 8 pm
    • Thursday: 2 pm - 6 pm
    • Friday: 2 pm - 6 pm
    • Closed on Monday, Saturday and Sunday
