Letter Pieces

Exploring sound and movement

Three days of workshops for children aged 7 to 12
April 12th -14th 2010, 10 am - 4 pm
in MATRIX 

Matthew Schlomowitz' Letter Pieces is a collection of miniature compositions. With small building blocks (a handfull of notes, a smile, a movement of the hand), the composer constructs a composition. Every building block was labelend with a letter, hence the title of the piece.

Throughout playful workshops, 12 children, guided by Tomma Wessel (recorder) and Shila Anaraki (dance), explore a new world of sound and movement, makeing their own 'letter pieces'.
The result can be admired on April 14th at 4 pm.
